Lincoln Water Park: Where Kids Burn Energy and Parents Earn a Sit Down!
If you've ever wondered whether it's possible to tire children out, I've finally found the answer... Lincoln Water Park!
📍 Moor Lane, Thorpe on the Hill, Lincoln, LN6 9BW
While they threw every ounce of energy they had into the course, I enjoyed the much easier challenge of sitting on the bank, coffee in hand, watching the chaos unfold. Honestly, it was brilliant entertainment!
We paid £23 per person, plus a £1.50 booking fee when we visited. At the time, we brought our own wetsuits and grippy socks as they were extra to hire. The good news is that wetsuits, helmets and buoyancy aids are now included with Aqua Park bookings, making it even better value if you're planning a visit.
Before You Book
- Every participant must be able to swim at least 25 metres unaided and be confident in open water.
- Aqua Park sessions last around 50 minutes, including the compulsory safety briefing.
- Complete your consent forms and watch the online safety video before arriving, then allow plenty of time to check in and get changed.
- Suitable for ages 5+, with a minimum height of 1.10 metres.
- Children aged 5–8 must be accompanied on the water by an adult on a 1:2 ratio. Children aged 9+ can take part independently if they're confident swimmers while an adult supervises from the shore.
- You can go barefoot, wear neoprene socks or soft-soled water shoes. Personally, I'd still recommend grippy socks—they definitely seem to help!
Make a Day of It
The fun doesn't stop with the Aqua Park. There's also the Aqua Jungle ropes and climbing course, plus plenty of other activities including:

Whether you're after an adrenaline-filled afternoon or a whole day by the lake, there's plenty to keep everyone entertained.
