The product (on the left) from @sk_machine is the real deal. The product from the copycat is design theft. How often within our own community are we so blatantly continually ripped off? Disgusted with all of these dollar chasing profiteers, pop-up "companies" jumping on the trend wagon without respect or integrity. There's not the slightest nod or parody or pastiche or credit attributed to the craftsman. Pacsun (and others) stealing tshirt designs, overseas substandard "fabricators" copying kicker pedals, or obviously unique handlebar designs, or exact diameter measurements on taillight mounting brackets #FuckYourCorporateSponsors only scratches the surface. I've been preaching "for the originality" for a long time now! #DIYisDead #LongLiveDIY but nothing surprises me any more. Most are obesely apathetic and couldn't give a shit about the marginalization of originality (beyond getting LIKES and more followers for social media Street cred) #MarketMeat for the masses to feed on.
