I’m tempted. I’m really tempted to go into the bathroom right now and lop most of my hair off. It’s not about depression, it’s not about wanting to be super-awesome. It’s about the fact that I hate long hair. Sure, I know I don’t look good with short hair anymore but my scalp, my head, and my irritation is just starting to get me feeling grrr...
I chopped off my hair a long time ago because it felt better, my scalp didn’t feel strained and it could breathe. My head didn’t feel like it was backpacking through the jungle carrying a heavy knapsack. However, it begs the question if I want to go with looks over comfort. I’m starting to lean towards comfort a little more every day because my head is so hot.
My hair is extremely thick. I believe that I wouldn’t have a problem with it if it wasn’t as thick as a golden retriever and I didn’t shed like one either. The only saving grace to this is the dye-job my loving husband does for me. Yet, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to battle every day and I know when summer comes it’s going to be even worse.
The one day I'm finally having a perfect hair day, I have to share it with a 700 mile car ride. Gah #longhairissues #neverhavetime
