out of the blue i sent her this image and caption the other day:

no occasion, just something that came to me, and i hadn’t talked to mousie in a long time. thought it would be a nice way to reconnect for a bit. wasn’t expecting anything - just whenever she got to it, i could say hi. 

but mousie is no ordinary mousie.

i logged in the next day to find 

an honest to god fic in my inbox.

i mean, i’m not even getting the chance to check my inbox much these days. so to find this?! and so quickly?! i am not worthy.

we all know NOBODY writes alex like mousie. she practically lives inside his head. it’s incredible.

@in1712 i think the best way is to check the netflix version against the one on youtube, but i just checked, and episodes 2-4 have been taken down. 

but checking episode 1 alone would suffice - on the US netflix, which used the bbc america version, the opening donna summer track is gone, and so is the japanese lullaby, which is replaced by strings. 

Really? I must check that.

was also just telling someone that WOW THE SHOW IS GORGEOUS IN HD. i watched the online versions when it aired, and they were uploads, so they were darker and grainier, but at the time of course i didn’t know it. i had nothing to compare it to. 

for example in episode 4 i was not able to tell that danny and the escort wore the same suit until i read it in the meta posts. but in hd the scene plays out so differently when you see they are wearing the exact same thing! totally adds to the creepiness.

only in 2017 am i seeing allllll the details lol. even the subtle expressions on alex’s face can be read differently!
