“What are you singing?” Yoongi asks him, coming up behind Seokjin and wrapping his arms around him. He leans against him, and Seokjin has to lean back lightly to keep from falling over. He doesn’t answer Yoongi, but rather continues to sing until the other recognizes the melody.

It’s an old song, but one close to their hearts. It’s their song, woven into the story of their lives, the story of their love. And with only the stars to witness this moment, Yoongi swears that it feels like the the stars themselves are playing the melody to accompany Seokjin’s singing.

And if Yoongi wakes up in the morning with the memory still fresh, but the bed forever cold, at least it will have been a nice dream.

In which Seokjin is long gone and Yoongi keeps hearing their song everywhere.
