Damn, LOK 3 was violent.
Especially the last four episodes…… a lot of graphic scenes.
No wonder they took it off air and online. It's literally aimed for young adults, the exact same people who watched ATLA. And guess who is on the Internet most. Yep, that young adult audience.
No seven year old is going to fully understand Zaheer's rant on freedom. It's not just a simple "heroes save the world from bad guys" kids show theme anymore. In addition to that recurring anarchy motif, there's also a handful of violence--they killed off a royal monarch and at least a majority of the main villains. And don't get me started with who got brutally injured (spoiler alert: Korra gets wrecked). Kinda reminds me of Harry Potter, in which the last couple years were all of a sudden superduper dark.
But damn, LOK 3 was good.
But honestly how this girl gonna go into the avatar state and fight with the wisdom of all the past avatars if her connection to the previous avatars is severed
