Watching the mind rehearse its pain.

Sitting. Breathing.

Meeting your mind with honesty.

Watching fearlessness grow.

Settling into the breath, letting the body rest and the mind soften. We bring to mind a memory that clings: regret, shame, or longing. Gently, we sit and observe the stories that arise.

Breathing in, acknowledging the ache of remembering. Breathing out, offering kindness to the one who lived it.

Remembering: we did the best we could with what we knew. We make the wish to release the grip of yesterday.
