Lynne’s wedding was beautiful. I’m so glad I didn’t miss it because of my stupid fight with Lois. After the ceremony Lynne came and hugged me and told me how happy she was that I was there for her.
I did keep my distance from the rest of the family. Everyone was perfectly nice to me, but I didn’t want to risk saying the wrong thing and starting a fight and ruining Lynne’s wedding day.
Both my sisters married off. I guess this means I have to get a move on.
The girls had their first television appearance tonight. We’ve been practicing hard for weeks and it turned out perfectly. Betsy and I are so proud of them! The media adores them, not just for their singing talent but because they’re identical triplets - not something you see everyday!

Dear Diary,
Now that we’re old enough my sisters have decided to join the cheerleading team as an afterschool activity. They think I should join too...fat chance! I have better things to do than being a paper-shaker. Lois and I fought about it - she says the squad won’t be symmetrical if I don’t join. Big deal!

Dear Bruce,
Well, I’ve had quite an exciting day. I went into labor and mamma took me to the hospital to have the baby.
It was triplets!
Can you believe it?
From our list of names for girls I’ve picked Lois, Lillian, and Lynne. Your daughters! I’ll send pictures of them along with this letter.

Today was Lois’ ‘big day’...she wore mamma’s old wedding dress and made Lynne and I wear dresses in our ‘favourite colours’.
I don’t think she’s even kissed anyone other than Ted. How can she know he’s the one for her, when she hasn’t even tried anyone else? Mamma fawns over them, says they’re so in love, talks about how cute their kids will be. So does Lynne. I feel like I’m the only one not seeing it.
Today I arrived at the home in Evergreen Harbour. Betsy had no idea until she opened that door - she nearly knocked me into the planter box with her hug. When she was done with me, mamá got her turn to smother me with all the love I’ve missed out on these past years. I won’t lie, I got a little choked up.
And then I met my daughters - my daughters! I’ve seen them in pictures for years, and today I finally got to pick them up and squeeze ‘em tight, and tell them just how much I love them all. They’re a bit shy but Betsy promises they’ll warm up to me.
Jesus Christ, I’m glad to be home.
