Description — Logo exploration created for SE.Legends, a community program designed to support and connect some of the platform’s top-performing creators.

The initiative brought together a selected group of streamers recognized for their strong participation in campaigns and community engagement, giving them access to closer support, collaboration, and networking opportunities within the platform’s creator ecosystem.

Inspired by luxurious brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Bvlgari I started exploring and experimenting on possible logo designs.

Logo Process: 

Logo Exploration: Colour, Positive & Negative 

Over the course of the last few days I have been trying to create a logo for Betelgeuse. One initial design I thought of consisted of a rockets path flying in from of a Upper case B as shown below.

Finding an initial font to work with was rather difficult, as I needed a very thick font that looked plain. I combined these two layers to come up with something like this shown below

After FINALLY finding a font I felt suited, I tried resembling this logo in Adobe Illustrator. The logo looks good in my opinion but I didn’t get the impression from it that I was hoping to get. 

I tried drawing a series of planet shaped logos, many of which turned out like the ones below, but they still didn't feel right. 

After going back to the drawing board, I decided to keep it plain and simple, and mimic the lines of a constellation for the logo. The end result felt like it would work better on the splash screen and across social media and it is minimalistic and easily recognisable.

By linking dartboards up with Adobe XD, I was able to create a really nice animated intro for my app to act as a loading screen for a second or two.
