hiya!! i saw your “worst holes” presentation and it really cracked me up. i’m really interested in using the mathematical formula you came up with for a similar project of mine for school, but to do that i would need to see the working out of how you devised the log formula. if you have any records of scribbles or related sources/mathematical concepts that you used to make the formula, would you be willing to share them? if not, thanks anyway for making such a well thought-out presentation and bringing me (and my math teacher) some fun :))
Okay, the biggest thing to know is that my math is total bullshit designed entirely to be overly complicated for no reason and to stop Jin Zixun from winning. The post-it note was the main idea and here are screen shots from two different group chats that I consulted about the logarithms. A lot of my numbers were based on how important I wanted each factor to be relative to another. And fractions were pulled from variables that I thought would inversely effect each other in order to increase or decrease the total (ie. the effect of collateral damage vs. the effect of higher or lower causality.
Honestly it was a a fit of mad genius and I don't know how to explain it.
