Past couple of days I’ve been having nice conversations with my ma about the lgbt+ community, discussing sexual and gender identities- what they are and what they mean- and how some things have changed over time. Ma isn’t that informed due to growing up in a conservative area but is rather progressive despite it, so she was very open to learning and it was just all around an enjoyable experience.
I’m really glad she is the way she is and is very supportive.... Just living proof a parent loving their child without conditions for that love is the best.
