As nice as it was to sit down at a cafe and talk to Tifa again, after months of non-contact? Travis, well… He hadn’t exactly been looking forward to this part of the recap. Even he knew there was no escaping it. 

“Oh, it’s, uh- It’s going great. We’re the best friends this damn island’s probably ever seen! Yep. The dynamic duo! Or the terrible two. Depends on who’s asking, and whether or not we’ve kicked their ass, haha… Haaa, stop giving me that look.” 

“Okay, okay! No, I haven’t fucking confessed, yet! Yes, I still lose my mind every moment I’m not with her, or whatever the lovesick cliches say! But - Look, it’s complicated, alright? She’s gotta be the one to open up, for… for personal reasons. Personal to her, I mean. You understand, don’t ya?”

Typical Tifa. Always looking out for Travis, one way or another. Always leaving those motivational notes stuck to his door. It warmed the otaku’s heart, really.
