is your locksport fic abandoned?
i'll be honest, i have no intentions of returning to it anytime in the immediate future, but of all my open wips that is the one that i'd most want to see completed - purely because i know it's only one more chapter outstanding and i loved writing that stupid little fic so much.
you know there's not really a whole lot more to come in terms of story, though, right? it's just smut and some mushy feelings left to round off and that's that. (honestly, i think that's why i put it off. i wrote so much smut in such a short period of time that i got bored of it.)
Am I in a depressive slumo because I am not keeping myself engaged and entertained or I can't bring myself to read, hang out with people, be creative because I am in a depressive slump?

It's honestly impossible to put into words how happy I was this package arrived. This is about 30 lbs of miscellaneous lock. The shipper told me it was probably going to piss off the mailman. I was already giddy and this thought amused me.
Now, I wasn't expecting this parcel to take a whole extra 9 days to arrive. I honestly thought they lost the thing on purpose. When I found it it on my porch, I couldn't help but laugh at the state it was in. It felt like the card board had become a thick back around it's contents. Still holding up, thankfully.
Also, this was a combination of two orders. A set with keys and a set without and was advertised as roughly 15lbs of cleaned out extra locks per set. I was expecting maybe 30 locks? I peeled the box open and quickly found there were a *few* more. It was a WIDE assortment. From level one white belt locks to even one level 9 black belt (LPU official difficulty rating system).
As these locks popped out of this box like a clown car, I just kept giggling and smiling.
Anyway, it's just strange what a passionate hobby will do to a person...
As a locksportist I absolutely despise the fact that fallout pretty much started the idea of using both a bobby pin and screwdriver at the same time as tension wrenches and the lock will magically open. Like HOW is rotating the bobby pin manipulating the pins. Also that they don’t use the wavy side as a rake, maybe a knife bypass with the flat side, but other than that it wouldn’t work at all. I would rather have an under the door tool to get into buildings, or a drilling minigame.

Hello, I'm not here to do much more than lurk or chat a bit. For the most part I'll remain publicly anonymous, but that doesn't mean I can't get to know people and go from there. Could be some thought sharing mixed in there, who knows? This is all born of social anxiety. Sorry if I come off weird, it's just bound to happen. :3

I like getting to know cool peeps and making connections. I only ask anyone to be themselves and not hurt anyone by doing so. I also enjoy origami and locksport as my main hobbies. I also enjoy writing occasionally and have one major WIP and some smaller ones. A lot of this writing interest is channeled into RPG world creating and such. Making characters and fleshing out lore for all that. Also, just general RP scenarios.
That being said, it seems I've gotten a little erratic with my post content. I don't give all that many fucks about how social conventions dictate how I should act, etc... I like all sorts of things, not just one thing and I don't want like... 13 blogs all with separate things to manage and all that jazz. Not even really interested in getting a large following. Not that I would. In fact, I highly doubt it, but I certainly enjoy blogging my insanity just because it amuses me. Really that's all this is, and I'm perfectly happy with that.
However, if this also makes you happy for some reason, you're more than welcome to say so.
