TIPS I WOULD GIVE TO PEOPLE WHO JUST DISCOVERED LAW OF ASSUMPTION
hello, my little grasshoppers! i hope you are all well, just like me. i have just started my year and taken charge of my revised life the moment the clock struck midnight on january 1st, and since then, many things have manifested themselves and come into my physical reality.
i decided to write this post for all those who are new to the law of assumption, or even those who are confused about what they know about the law, and i hope i can help you better understand how it works!
1. REALITY IS MALLEABLE
to say that reality is malleable or mouldable means that the physical world is not a rigid, independent structure, but rather a plastic reflection of your consciousness. the central idea is that the outside world is “you pushed out” (everyone is you pushed out). if reality is mouldable, it means that it reacts to your internal changes. if you change your self-image (your ‘assumption’), the physical world, being malleable, is forced to reorganise itself to reflect this new image.
example:
imagine you have a difficult boss who you believe is critical and unfair.
you try to change his behaviour by arguing or trying to please him (physical effort). nothing changes. you ignore his current behavior and begin to assume internally, ‘my boss recognises my value and treats me with respect,’ feeling, physically and mentally, that this is already real, already happening.
the result: since reality is malleable, his behaviour ‘softens.’ he may start praising you out of the blue, or he may be transferred and a new boss, who fits your new assumption, takes his place. needless to say, his behaviour changes; after all, internally, he has always treated you with respect and values you. the ‘moulding’ happens through a change in your mental attitude.
2. TIME DOES NOT EXIST.
saying that time does not exist does not mean that your watch is a lie, but rather that “now” is the only reality. in Neville's view, time is an illusion of our physical senses. everything exists simultaneously.
imagine reality as a film on a reel. although the projector shows one scene at a time (which gives us the sense of time), all the scenes — the beginning, middle, and end — already exist on the reel right now.
the version of you that is already successful, healthy, or married is not something that ‘will be created’ in the future. it already exists as a possibility in a state of consciousness right now. You don't create anything; you just tune your perception to a different scene in the film.
Neville said, ‘eternity exists now.’ if you can feel the relief of having what you want right now, you have eliminated the time gap. physical reality (which is malleable and a little slower) just ‘catches up’ to what you have already experienced internally.
if you feel that your desire is ‘far away’ or that ‘it will take time,’ you are creating time.
if you assume the feeling of desire fulfilled now, you ‘collapse’ time. time is only the delay between your internal change and external manifestation, but in consciousness (the only reality), the fact is already real.
3. BE ON THE STATE OF THE WISH FULFILLED
assuming the state of fulfilled desire means making a change in identity, where you cease to be someone who “wants” something and become someone who already has that something. in the practice of the law of assumption, desire is seen as a sign that your current version is lacking; therefore, to manifest, you must abandon the posture of seeking. instead of asking for or waiting for something to happen in the future, you mentally occupy the position of someone who is already living the experience, adjusting your thoughts, internal conversations, and reactions as if your goal were a fait accompli in your biography.
this practice requires you to temporarily ignore the evidence of your physical senses, which may be screaming that the desire has not yet been fulfilled. living in the end means that if you desire wealth, you do not act mentally like someone who is “trying to get rich”, but rather like someone who already has financial security. this change alters your vibrational “tone” and your self-image; you stop looking at your desire and start looking from it. it is as if you are already at the top of the mountain, looking back at the path you have travelled, instead of looking up with fatigue and longing.
i am not becoming what i desire; i am now what my vision affirms me to be, and the world has no choice but to witness my conviction.
reminder: you don't need to believe to practice. you just need to feel.
