Avian hybrids are always born with wings however they only start developing around late teens to early adulthood (since humans have longer lifespans-) but after that they grow really fast till there super big and actually work

Phil is the only one with fully grown wings (old man-) his wingspan is around 20+ feet but they where blown up shielding wilbur in the L'manburg explosion so he can't fly anymore and their alot smaller now from missing feathers

Wilburs wings would have been almost grown around pogtopia however from childhood he developed a nervous habit of plucking his feathers (already meaning he probably wouldn't be able to fly) during pogtopia the habit got worse and he stopped taking care of his wings in general. So around when he died his wingspan was only around 4 to 5 feet
