And it’s worse when the side you nominally agree with is also saying some nonsense. “Anyone who wants to work is brainwashed by capitalism” is... just plain wrong.

I think you could watch it live online, when it was chugging down the tracks. I didn’t watch it, but the first stop they had in Rognan where they had this local snack called møsbrømlefse, is something I really love. The man who prepared it, has one of the best in the area. For those of you who doesn’t know what it is, it’s like a thin crispy bread filled with brown cheese that’s been melted together with butter and flour. Brown cheese is just whey cooked down until it becomes sweet and somewhat sticky then poured into molds. If you are wondering what whey is, its a bi product of cheese making, but also of yogurt. So that liquid on top of your yogurt, is just the whey that has separated from the yogurt

Unfortunately, I don’t know that much about country and western music. My family, for all their flaws, had completely different taste in music than your average conservative.

Its kind of funny how like, one moment, its 3 in the afternoon and ya’ll are talking about life and your ambitions and then suddenly BAM! its 12 a.m and the topic is all about Lizard Titties. 

I’m doing okay. A bit heartbroken but this was inevitable and I just dragged my feet about it for a few months before it finally happened, so... dealing, I guess. We’re still friends and prolly always will be. I’m just... not allowed to be a lovesick puppy anymore. And that hurts ‘cause he was the first person I liked who wanted the same personal future that I do. Just not with me, apparently.

Also... part of the reason I talk about fluff less is that it doesn’t get challenged the way dark-themed stuff does. If the fiction police were all about “you are improperly SJing when you portray minority protagonists as happy, because you make light of their Oppreshun,” rather than “how dare you write tragedy porn,” I’d probably tell them to go fuck themselves for that too.
