I will add that this sourcebook (there was another one that came out in 2021, apparently) came out in 2002 and there’s a lot of stuff in it that isn’t canon anymore, Abe being gray rather than green, for example, and it’s very clear that it was published relatively early on into the series.
(Also, it said Hellboy was Kate’s closest friend and that seemed like something you would appreciate)
