We sat on the dock yesterday afternoon, soaking up sunshine amid the comfortable silence that comes with good friends. We watched the antics of skittering waterbugs as they criss-crossed the water around us. Well, to us it was 'antics'; to them, it was Life. Mating, fighting, chasing - each happening almost simultaneously, because they rushed from one thing to the next, cramming a whole lot of living into each minute of their lives (What is the life span of a waterbug? I honestly do not know!) ** We aren't skitterbugs, but some days, it certainly seems like we are rushing from one thing to another, non-stop, all day long. What are we getting out of those experiences? Are we just 'checking off boxes' in Life? Live Purposely. When you do something, DO SOMETHING. Make it count. Whether it's something you consider important or something mundane, do it with purpose, to the best of your ability. Notice the difference. LIVE. Drink the damn coffee, my friends. Make every day, every THING count. Because it does. It really does. #drinkthedamncoffee #livepurposely https://www.instagram.com/p/CRYxRFNsAM5/?utm_medium=tumblr
