Whatever happened to cornflakepizza? Did they just stop posting one day?
they pop in from time to time! Last I heard they had a lot going on in their life and were working on getting back into school etc.Â
Honestly, they might have just outgrown tumblr - and good for them for getting away from this hellsite!Â
Honestly, i feel like I'm a "One-Hit Wonder" artist.
Yo ho, all hands Hoist the colors high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die
Hello, Again.Â
It's 12:05. I'm drinking. I haven't written in a while.Â
Ok.Â
I've been living in New York for 138 days. When I was in the elementary grades, we always celebrated the 100th day of school. It came in late November and it called for candies and legos and paper flowers in a hundred count. In the scheme of a 7 year old's life, 100 days represents a significant hunk of existence.Â
These 100 days passed without remark, and 38 more were able to join them before I sat down to reflect on them. I am doing so only at the insistence of my university, because as I may have forgotten to mention, I am in the city participating in an internship for school credit. And for the record 'forgetting to mention' was 'intentionally misleading' because, lets be real for a moment, the internet is where the events of one's life are recorded with the hazy, beautifying glow of a daytime television.
And now, while trying to reflect on an experience of 138 days, I can only recall the experience of 1. Like the one day I woke up two hours late and could only hold back tears with the crushing fear of being fired. Or the one day I was at the studio until 6 in the morning because I was determined not to leave if there was anything else that could be done.Â
Or the one day I felt incredibly ill out of no where and threw up in the restroom only to return to work without mentioning it to anyone, until just now (you may be the very first person I've told this to, lucky internet stranger!)Â
And on this same day happened to be the one time I met Beyonce at a party and felt so awash with guilt at the notion of celebrity that I drank myself into a stupor and swore that I'd never talk about it on the internet (once again, you're the first to hear of this, congrats!)Â
Or the one day I cried. Briefly. Out by the water.
For once I don't have a conveniently poetic lesson to glean from this. Only that I am woefully adrift. And at the very, very least, I know how to float.Â

A fanfiction for Arashi (and prfm?)?
Question: If I were to write a fanfiction for Arashi (with Perfume in it, just cuz I love those two groups~), would people even be interested? Because I feel like the only one that ship them. (It's just a personal ship, plz don't hate!)
Where should I post them?
This is one of those nights that I am so thankful for baking. Â After a day where it felt like my body and mind failed me, I can still find a recipe, purchase ingredients, and then follow directions to make something delicious. Â During the process I can completely immerse myself in following the directions--timing the addition of the buttermilk, mixing on high until light and fluffy--and just take pleasure and comfort in predictability.
So many new things are coming up soon. Â Attempting to run my first half marathon. Â Graduating law school. Â Studying for and taking the bar exam. Â Being the closest approximation to a grown up that I have been yet.
Throughout it all, though, I'll always be able to make a batch of cupcakes at 11:30PM.
