#30DaysOfAnimation Day 8 Catch up post (went to a wedding over the weekend hence no posts 🤷🏾♀️) Last week Friday I had another lesson with my mentee ❤. We were recording reference footage for #TheFriendlyMonster We were trying out different walk cycles for each character. Solving performance problems and having fun. To those outside of the world of animation these references might seem silly or a waste of time, but I say never underestimate the power of a good reference! There are all kinds of nuances that we wouldn't otherwise be able to pick up and include in our animations without references.
