The Young Mentor: Part III- The false finale
So, I think i've finally figured out a scheduled time i'll be posting these up. These blogs will be posted sometime monday-thursday at around 1-4 ish sometime before i work. I might just post two blogs a week, or three a week, or four a week, but for now we'll just see what hapens now onto the... uhm, rundown?
So Sin, this mysterious, young, and dark mentor teaching our protagonist the ways of protagonism... There's a lot i'm holding back mostly because i don't want to throw a ton of words that will most likely confuse- you know what i'll just share with you.
So Sin is teaching Aiden how to use the darkness, after obtaining a mystical weapon that harnesses darkness itself, Sin has been guarding this weapon over the last fourty years since her's unable to age this isn't a problem, however, some young gun accidentally grabs it trying to help his friends and becomes cursed with this dark aura. Sin now has to train Aiden in order to use this power successfully to save the world from a mythological God entity, two brothers sent to destroy the world, and figure out if he'd rather bone the cute, and petite woman born from the darkness, or the older peppy arcane mage with a guilt conscious.Β
Hmm actually that wasn't very hard at all, well that's saves a lot of time. so yes Sin is training our main protagonist Aiden to use the darkness , and harness it's arcane powers for good, and not evil. But i'm getting off topic.
last time we talked about how to make our once proud hero, a well, fallen one. so i've been thinking about comics a lot lately. (not a tangent) and realized Batman, the god damned batman. One of my personal favorite villains from the batman mythos is Ra's Al Ghul. and he has the key to making my fallen hero. A lazerus pit, well not exactly but a well that's used to corrupt people. this could be used as a tool to create small minions (known in the story as Darklings(name might change)) but also a way to show that it has it's flaws, and doesn't always work, since this plot tool will be used much later in the series(and if i have any smart readers, i'm sure they've already figure it out.) so we I think that wraps up most of our mentor.Β
In conclusion Sin was a fallen hero bathed in the darkness to be used as a tool against humanity, and possibly destroy EVERYTHING! but while in this "Bathing" process he still remains himself, the process failed and who knows why. fourty years later he's now guarding what he thinks might be the only way to save the world. by teaching someone how to harness, and possibly be able to withstand the same treatment he got,. eh eh, but yes I feel like I've missed something though... Something important, something a mentor always go through... hmm Oh well.
