“That looks more like a weird third arm than a dick.” “JASON WHY ARE YOU LOOKING MEIN GOTT MAN GET OUT!”
little-todd started following you
Peter had his backpack over one shoulder as he read his map with one hand. He thought he was on Main Street or maybe he was at Central Avenue. Darn why were paper maps always so hard to read? In his distraction, he nearly ran into someone. “Crap, sorry about that!”
"I-I know you're not my mom... B-but you're really nice to me and you teach me stuff and I like you, s-so happy mothers day..." Jason held up a hand made card and a flower, ready for rejection.
"Oh, my," she mused, a smile curling her features. "You are an absolute charmer for thinking of on this Mother's Day." She was no longer a mother, had not been in quite a few hundred years. However, what she lacked in her own blood kin, she gained in these wayward orphans. Todd was like a son to her, even without the nine months in her womb. "I am your mother in gesture and I will cherish such a card and flower. Come, why don't I read this card by the referidgerator and place it there."

❝ Wait, say that again? ❞
Cullen abruptly asks, cutting off what the younger had been saying. He   had stopped walking, turning to face Jason with a surprised look. He'd   met the fellow Gothamite a while ago, but a good deal of what the kid   said (and did) still caught him off guard. Mostly in regards to Jason's way   of living. Being in the Narrows was hard, Cullen knew that, but hearing   how other people lived through it was...er, eye-opening.

Jason stared long and hard at the man, not quite sure if he recognized him or not. There was definitely a familiarity. "Excuse me, do I know you?" Maybe he had visited the apartment when he was young. Lots of shady characters had.
The fight must have thrown him farther than he thought. Though Jack had tried to steer clear of the trans-universal device, an explosion had triggered and flung him far afield. How far he didn’t know until he recognized the child in front of him, if only just barely.Â
This was Jason Todd. Here in front of him stood the Robin the Joker had killed and he didn’t look like any vigilante in training. He must have fallen into an entirely different time stream. Jack swallowed the lump in his throat and tried to smile, hoping his strange appearance wouldn’t scare the boy.
"I sure hope not," he answered honestly. "My name’s Jack. What’s yours?"
"Countess, look!" He held up an A+ Science test. "Dad gave me $5 as a present for studying so hard. Let's get ice cream with it."
Slowly, she lifted the parchment to her eyes, scanning over the correct answers he'd given on the exam. "My, congratulations this deserves ice cream and one gift. Yes, a gift for your studious nature. What will you wish?" Ice cream, she last recalled their venture for the sweet treat. "You wish for the same ice cream shop?"
Congrats on your score! I don't care what you think, you had a score worthy of being proud of. Go have some ice cream or something and celebrate how awesome you are.
Thanks… I just thought I’d do best in the writing aspect and it turns out to be the complete opposite of that. It’s a bit upsetting. But at least I can still apply for the scholarship with those scores.
