I'm absolutely thrilled to share that I am hosting and curating a second fortune cookie reading at @thelitexhibit: rituals! It's happening this Friday, 8-10 pm, in Brooklyn at Temporary Storage at @brooklynfireproof. The 12 of us selected a fortune cookie slip as the prompt for our piece. Taking the entire sentence, a phrase, a single word, english translation, number, or chinese character as the basis. The work can be a comic, monologue, essay, short story, spoken word, etc, just as long as it is read or performed in 7 minutes or less and the audience can infer the connection between slip and final product. Hello Friends! We Have An Update!
A few major details have changed! However, the show is still happening on July 29th in Brooklyn, NY. Just to avoid any confusion, here’s all the info on what’s new:
THE VENUE.
The show is now happening at THE LIVING GALLERY at 1094 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY.
THE TIME.
The show will now be held from 7pm to 12am.
THE PRICE.
The Lit Exhibit includes an open bar and a few free treats! To accomodate this, I've tweaked the prices a *teeny* bit~
$5 Early Bird Ticket sales have CLOSED.
For the rest of JUNE, Tier One tickets will be available for $7.
As soon as JULY hits, Tier Two tickets will be available for $12 until the day of the show.
Guests will be charged $15 if they choose to buy at the door.

Hello friends! So here’s some major news!
So, as you all know, the book is out and the show is a little over a month away! Tomorrow, I will be making an adjustment to ticket prices as well as announcing some important updates regarding The Lit Exhibit!
TODAY (6/20) is the LAST day that the $5 tickets will be up for sale!
If you'd like to go (or even if you can't but you'd like to show some support!) I'd recommending grabbing an early one while you still can! Today the price is the lowest it’ll ever be~
