Apparently it’s National Book Lovers Day today and as I’m a book lover I’ll list my ten favourite books that I have read so far in 2017. Way back when I was 18 I started to list the books I’d read and give them a mark out of 10, I can only remember 3 books that I’ve ever given 10 out of 10 (’Catcher In The Rye‘, ‘On The Road’ and ‘Everything Is Illuminated’), I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve tried to read ‘Ulysees’ about 97 times without succeeding, I’ve dug about in more dusty book shops than I care to remember, I’ve tried writing novels, I use a Marilyn Monroe postcard as a bookmark, I alternate between fiction and non-fiction, I prefer American literature to English literature and the last time I moved house I moved all my things in one trip and then all my books in the second trip. :)

Just last Wednesday, June 22, I turned a year older. Due to hectic schedule from school, I wasn’t able to write about this Birthday Wishlist blog post. Well, better late than never!

Anyway, I listed 20 things I want for my birthday, both material and hanggang-pangarap-lang-yan-Pat.

After You by Jojo Moyes – I had read Me Before You and I am curious on what happen next to Lou after Will’s death (oops, spoiler!).

Remember That album by BTOB – Just recently, I became a fan of BTOB and I absolutely love their latest mini album! Melody!

Faber-Castel Pitt Pens set of 60 – I do have the set of 12 because it is the only one I can afford. This set of 60 cost thousands and have a lot of beautiful colors. Since I only have the 12 set, I’ve been buying solo Pitt Pens and collecting the colors that are available in the set of 60.

Pantone Postcards – Who doesn’t love Pantones? I’ve been on search for this one since last year, but until now, no luck. Based on my research, this set of pantone postcards is only available outside Philippines and online.

Plain Converse -  This shoes has been on my wishlist since last year. You can never go wrong with plain converse!

Doc Martens Creepers in Cherry Red – I’m a fan of Luanna, a fashion blogger based in NYC, and I’ve been seeing her wearing this creepers, and ended up falling in love with it. Sadly, it’s hard to score this creepers in Doc Martens stores here in the Philippines.

FUJINON Lens XF35mm F1.4 R – Dream prime lens for my Fujifilm XT1.

Black Culottes – Recently, I went to change my wardrobe and been investing to 90’s fashion. I have a maong culottes and I love the feel and style of it. Still currently looking for a perfect black culottes.

Hasselblad – My dream slr camera.

Leica Q – I’ve been eyeing this baby for a while now. I am a fan of Leica cameras but the prices always break my heart.

Moon Phase Tatoo – Planning to have this tattoo on my left arm. This is my birthday gift to myself! Can’t wait to be inked!

Memobottle A5 size – I’ve been seeing this bottle a lot online and I find it pretty cool. Wish this is available in my country.

Go to Paris – Paris will always have a place in my heart. My mom told me that we might go on a Europe trip by next year after I graduate.

Kylie Lip Kit in Dolce K -  I bought the Candy K a month ago, and I absolutely love it. In love with the colors of Candy K and Dolce K.

NIKKOR AF-S in 58mm F1 – a sharp lens for my Nikon D7100. It’s time to invest for a new lens but of course, who am I kidding, I have no money. Iyak Pat =(

Go Pro Hero4 Silver -  We actually have a Go Pro for family travels but unexpectedly, my sister thought that it is only for her. Worst thing, she won’t even allowed us to use it! So, me and my younger brother is planning to buy one for both of us.

Reindeer Decor -  This is on my room wishlist. I did found one on West Elm at Estancia Mall but I’m not sure with the price.

Potato Corner Cheese Flavor – Always craving for Potato Corner in cheese flavor!

Canon Selphy CP910 Printer – I do journaling, and went to Photo printing shop a lot to print photos. But this printer is a savior! I’m currently saving up for this one.

 YOOK SUNGJAE <3 – I watched Byu’s We Got Married and at first, I don’t really like Sungjae because I sort of find him gay, BUT LO AND BEHOLD, I AM NOW OBSESSED TO HIM. I had already watched his dramas, Plus Nine Boys and Who Are You: School 2015 (Gong Tae Kwang<3).

It’s been a long time since my last The Happy List. My life during June up to August was filled with many good things that really made me happy and stronger. And, I’m sharing them with you, in this Happy List Vol.10 of mine!

Here are the things that made me happy lately:

Being able to live the life I dreamt of.

Non-stop life planning and listing of goals and achievements to unlock,

Having a supportive mother. I’m lucky enough to have a mom who supports me in my life decisions and choices. She always reminded me that, whatever happens, she’s there and just do what makes you happy. And I did, part of who and what I am, it’s all because of her. She also help me out in my business, - from inventory, sales, pricing and even accompanied me in my events! Best Mom!

Being an inspiration to others.

Witnessing my own progress.

Realising how lucky I am and I should be thankful and feel grateful for it.

Staying away from toxic people and eventually removed them in my life.

Having a positive outlook in life.

Random and sweet messages from my readers and strangers

19 and doing great

Being matured and adult enough when doing and taking decisions, choices and chances.

Spontaneous movie dates, hang-outs and shopping with a friend and family.

Appreciations, recognitions and compliments I’m getting by people in my social media accounts.

I find it relaxing whenever I list down or write the things that made me smile and happy. As I list it down, besides being happy that it happened, I also remembered the stories that comes along with it.
