Got your attention? It’s not every day those names cross the desks of CQ’s reporters and editors, but a new report from the child advocacy group First Focus documents that such candy and sugary cereal names are being used to sell the liquid nicotine in electronic cigarettes. The findings, Melissa Attias reports, could provide extra momentum to legislation that would require liquid nicotine to have child-resistant packaging.
Commentary: Because nicotine is tobacco-derived, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) consider it to be a tobacco product and recommend regulating it as such. @therealebonyallen
