His rejection anxiety amps up. He doesn't want a(nother) sibling! The baby will take all of your attention away from him! You won't love either of them anymore. You'll move on with your new baby and the evil polycule. The evil polycule will then kick them off base and they won't ever see you again!

Tretij is distressed. It fears that it'll get overwhelmed and harm your baby. The screams of newborn children, their loud minds screeching in ear splitting static, it makes him go mad. He likes the conflicting emotions and relationship problems present when babies are born. They just can't stand the baby.

And a small part of them is attached to you. You aren't going to help clean their mask anymore or make sure they've eaten? You won't stop them from driving soldiers mad for fun? There will be no more time arts-n-crafts with you either!

However, Tretij does seem to be more accepting. They float over and gently place a hand over your stomach, contemplating on whether they should make your body abort it while it's still early. You'd think it was a miscarriage. You'd be a wreck of emotions and they could nom on them contentedly. Eli would be less likely to get the both of them kicked off base. They've done worse. They will do worse. Why stop at this?

Give them some time. Or maybe don't, and immediately comfort them before they become (even more) homicidal.
