Today is #WomensEqualityDay. . I love that there is a day to honor those who fought so I could vote AND live my purpose out loud. Literally. . This year, so many empowering moments filled my days that would never have been possible without women’s right to vote or use her voice in public. . The ones that stand out the most have to do with the #WomanUP Movement I’m blessed to partner on with @sarasutachan @lappletony and an amazing pride of Lionesses. (Many - not all - pictured here!) . Together, we are inspiring women to be brave and take steps toward making their biggest dreams come true. . Friends, it’s such a gift to find your tribe. One that honors your life's purpose. . Don’t give up on finding yours. . My #LionessPride REJOICES & revels in how I use my moxie to fire up and empower women. They encourage me to be brave, embrace new ways to inspire others to step into their divine greatness, and find/create opportunities for me to ignite others and speak life into them. . The date was selected to commemorate the 1920 certification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, granting women the right to vote. This was the culmination of a massive, peaceful civil rights movement by women that had its formal beginnings in 1848 at the world’s first women’s rights convention, in Seneca Falls, New York.
