haven't seen anyone talking about this afaik? but ubuntu is planning age verification which will likely influence other linux operating systems. i'm not very tech literate but figured y'all might wanna know
do you think, you will get into linux ricing?
Rn, absolutely not i have too much to prioritize otherwise. In the future, absolutely. Im already talking to my boyfriend about al the tech shit I want room for in our apartment that we dont have yet 😭
Looking for an operating system other then win11 for my grandmother and thinking about the time i spent like 3 hours installing Fedora to decide in 5 minutes i absolutely hated it factory reset my pc again to try mint instead. Much preferred that. Thinking of Zorin (free) for her though. Looks simple to use and low specs.
Remember when I said getting Black Ops Cold War to work through Lutris wasn't gonna be that hard? Looks like I'm eating my words cuz it is actually gonna that hard. I don't know what exactly the problem is, but Black Ops Cold War STILL won't launch even with Lutris. Getting the launch script for Black Ops Cold War to install is also proving to be difficult. So, I'm still going to need to do quite a lot of work to get this to going. God I love Linux. You and your many children should never change, Linux. (Nah but seriously, this is not the fault of Linux, this is the fault of the US not enforcing its trust anti laws so that Windows doesn't have a monopoly via being the dominant OS getting all the support from games and bought programs. I should not be having to use all these compatibility layer programs to play a game that I bought completely fairly and legally via Steam.)
