I'm getting a haircut tomorrow, and I hope they do it well. So far, no one has been able to do my hair how I want it or need it, and I always end up with ugly hair 🙃
For more context, I have wavy, thick hair that hairdressers always brush and wet before cutting even when I specifically tell them not to. They think they cut at a longer length, but after when my hair dries, it shrinks up and ends up being much shorter than what I wanted... Every. Single. Time.
It's so frustrating! What can I say to get them to do what I need? It feels like they do it for their own sake, yknow? So it'll be easier and faster for them, but I don't get the haircut I want. I've been to every salon in my town and its the same problem.

Update: I've got a good haircut! 😊 I finally found a good hair salon, they knew how to cut my hair (dry cut) and they gave me tips on how to bring out my natural curls more because right now its just wavy/straight somedays.
This year feels different, somehow.
Hopefully for the better... fingers crossed.
TFW you go through the cycle of depression for months to manic and talking to people again, doing chores, talking to people and being a functional member of society for a few days and then back to depression and barricading yourself in your room again 🙃
Repeat all your life and wonder why no one talks to you or wants to be friends anymore. Oh, how exhausting it is... I wish I could be normal for once.
