Headcanon A: realistic
quackity has grown to enjoy hanging out with purpled. at first, he had only invited him to LNV in order to use his skills as a mercenary, but over time, his dry attitude and humor, coupled with his entrepreneurial (re. scamming) instincts have endeared him to quackity, reminding him of tubbo and tommy back when they all first met. if he is to die, (which he will, at some point, like everyone else has) he thinks purpled might be a pretty good successor. hopefully history doesn't repeat itself
Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious
quackity has installed numerous security cameras since wilbur revealed to him that he's alive. quackity used to leave sam to check the hours of footage by himself, but after sam called him in one day to show him a clip of wilbur tripping into the las nevadas fountain, he likes to stay up long into the night with sam, watching wilbur's various failed attempts to cause mayhem and letting laughter soothe the creeping dread and paranoia in his mind.
Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends
quackity thinks wilbur's philosophy of their lives and world being a story is stupid. this doesnt stop him from keeping the tnt planted beneath LNV by ranboo and wilbur. after all, if it all goes to shit, he has to have some sort of exit strategy, and what better exit strategy than a poetic reenactment of another president's death? better fire and chaos than slowly drinking himself to death. he's too tired of starting over to try again after this.
Headcanon D: unrealistic, but i will disregard canon about it because i reject canon reality and substitute my own
quackity keeps the rings of his two fiances on a necklace around his neck at all times. he also keeps the ring he had planned to marry schlatt with, and a button that had fallen off wilbur's presidential uniform, both in a small chest underneath the boards of his office. he routinely considers throwing away the chest, or at the very least returning the button to wilbur, but decides against it. eventually, if he's surrounded himself with enough relics of his mistakes, maybe he'll stop making them.
Oh, man. I was just looking at your Tsubomi notes and honestly, I so agree with you - she's meant to be beautiful in a very subtle way. I'd love it if one day in the anime Mob sees Tsubomi and realizes... she looks different. Average/normal? No more big eyes and long eyelashes, she'd look a lot more like the 'manga' style. And he finds it confusing, but, in a way, you can see in his point of view she's no longer some goddess and this crazy crush he had on her isn't obscuring his vision anymore.
I have been speculating on whether this is Studio BONESâ long term plan with her redesign myself. I sure HOPE it is because what theyâve done to her is so bad and generic and I donât understand why anyone would OK a change like that.Tsubomi doesnât get any real characterization until very late in the story, so her appearance is all you can do to give an impression of what sheâs like. Apparently BONES thought âwide eyed, ditzy shoujo girlâ was a good first impression :I
