linking my ideas to modern day
I had a meeting on teams with Eleanor today and it was very helpful with her giving me several areas I could use as further research or development areas that would make my interpatient more grounded and link in with our modern society better, like:
Research modern NASA
Cag-side, National Trust
Where is it set, aka time period
Any TV series that could link
What is a modern wizard and how do we define them
The other advice that Eleanor gave me was a couple of artists/designers that I could use whilst also telling me to think about adding colour within my drawings to help tell the story and give a better understanding of what everything looks like.
Overall I feel the chat went well with me settling upon a theme which now I can explore in more detail, but also being careful not to copy the 1950`s film forbidden planet. keeping this in mind I have done a bit of research into NASA`s plans for future space travel. There are a few plan already in the works which I could some-how use as part of my story and design ideas.
