I am so sick of brands and marketing teams thinking I’m not smart. Millions of years of advancement in arts and sciences have led me to be able to synthesize information at practically a moment’s notice (without ai mind you because I’m not a mindless peon) but sure go ahead and say that the gen z marketing team would simply describe the movie Scream as “trauma but make it iconic.” Go ahead and have influencers tell me that “I’d never thought I would say this but…” and “omg this rebrand HAS to studied…”. Go ahead and keep asking me “why did you scroll past this particular ad :(?” even though you know full well the reason is because I don’t condone consistently being marketed towards every single second of my puny life. I don’t care how much you’re competing for my attention STOP TALKING DOWN TO ME.
