Pardon me but how do you get the cool static effect on your lineart?
Ok, so this is pretty simple! First, I start by drawing the sketch traditionally, and then scanning it in and putting it in SAI!
Here’s the scanned sketch!
Then, I go to Filters>Brightness and Contrast at the top toolbar, and adjust the picture according to what makes it look the sharpest! It’s usually somewhere around +45 contrast and -45 brightness!
After this, I go to Filters> Hue and Saturation! I bump up the Saturation to 100% and change the hue to whatever color I’m going for! Here, I went with a purple tone, so I only changed the hue slightly.
After that, I set my layer settings according for the layer containing this sketch- usually from the default all you have to do is change “mode” from Normal to Multiply.
After you do this, add a layer below it and you are free to color under the adjusted sketch as if it were lines you drew on a transparent layer!
