He had half dressed-up. Yes, this was a get-together, but it wwa fairly relaxed, so while Tolaas wasn't decked out in his full cowboy gear like usual, he was still dressed comfortably.

The gravy, an' the corn, an' the mashed taters have already been made, they just need ta be heated up, an' I can do that when i start cookin' the steaks, which shouldn't take more'n fifteen minutes. The tiramisu is already in the fridge."

He moved into the kitchen, grabbed the salads, and started putting them on the table at the place setings, he placed a bottle of vinigrette, italian, and ranch in the center of the table to give people a choice of dressing. In the middle of the table were several bottles of wine and he placed the wine glasses, half full, next to everyone's place settings.

There was a knock at the door. "Can ya answer that, Lilah?"
