Art and beer come together to make Quiet Storm. The honey ale is a special collaboration between artist Emeka Ogboh and Gruthaus Brauerei for Skulptur Projekte Mßnster 2017. Made with lime tree flowers and honey collected from Mßnster beekeepers, the beer reflects summer in Mßnster and the fragrant linden trees that line the promenade surrounding the inner city. During fermentation, the beer was influenced by a sound installation comprised of ambient sounds from a bustling market in Lagos, Nigeria, which were composed by Mßnsterian musician Thomas Bßcker. Taste and sound come together to create this special bier-skulptur that is fragrant and complex. Quiet Storm was brewed in Belgium by Brouwerij Anders, and has a notable Belgian flavour.
