“Yer running for head girl, yeah?”

All because of Vivian, Jennifer able to orchestrate her own game tonight. She was forever in Vivian Travers’ debt and she savored every second of it greatly. It had tasted vile in comparison to the Dark Vanilla of Gilbert Selwyn’s creations she often chugged. Tonight she settled on mixing polyjuice with Love Spell, something that caused an erratic and happy high. Jennifer didn’t need to be sober to carry out her mission. The high enhanced every bit of her and it was quite menacing, as she peered into the mirror and saw somebody else’s reflection staring back at her. She smiled, wide as can be, so unlike her beautiful cousin, before slipping the mask over her newly delicate features.

“Jenny wants to play.”

Date: January 8th, 1982

Location: Marlene’s Cottage in the McKinnon Ranch

No immediate tasks for the force, no mission assignments for the Order, not even any pressing matters to take care of in the ranch. It had been so long since Marlene had spent time with one of her closest friends. Marlene historically never had many friends of the female variety. The witches she could feel close to could all be counted on one hand - and half of them were related by blood. Her friendship with Lily Evans was one she cherished, ever since they started in the Order together. However, lately with everything going on around them, their friendship felt tested every day. And like the war - it felt as if they were losing.

And so - this night became a product of plan to slow down and catch up. Marlene’s feminine instincts might not have been as strong as others, but her intentions always came from the heart. She held high expectations for her friends -  but even higher expectations for herself. So she planned to make this night a memorable, cheerful feeling to hold onto for the time to come. 

Marlene walked into her common room with a pot of tea; cozy blankets and snacks already placed in the center for a relaxing night in. Once she placed down the kettle next to the girls’ two favorite mugs, Marlene took her wand and spoke “Incendio!” as she simultaneously directed it to the fireplace. Everything was ready. Now, Marlene only needed to wait for Lily to arrive for the night’s festivities. 

Time passed and boredom began to settle in. Marlene grabbed her popcorn and began whipping up pieces in the air to see if she could catch it in her mouth. At first, it was just to pass the time, but as what usually tends to happen in her life, Marlene became aggressively competitive to prove to herself she could get it - and even played up the difficulty level just to see if she could outsmart herself.

Severus made quick work of the walk through the dungeons. One of his favorite things about being sorted into Slytherin house was the easy walk to the Potions classroom. Severus had always liked the dungeons. Many complained about the darkness, or how the walls always seemed damp. Severus, on the other hand, very much enjoyed the morbid decor. It was fitting, for him. He slipped inside of the classroom. It was empty, but that was to be expected. It was the weekend, so Professor Slughorn was probably off somewhere in the village. The door to the student cupboard was open an inch and he headed straight towards there. 

Severus yanked open the door, and as he did so, Peeves appeared. He must have been hiding, invisible to Severus’ eyes. Severus didn’t have time to react. Peeves shoved him forward into the storage closet with a cackle and slammed the door shut behind him. Severus could hear the lock click into place and something told him that a simple unlocking charm just wouldn’t do the trick. He sighed and turned around. This was when he noticed that he was not alone. Standing there before him, in all of her lovely glory, was Lily Evans. He froze in place. No. No. This was not good. And then. Wait. Yes. Yes. This is good. It was Lily, standing in front of him again. He knew this interaction wouldn’t be pretty. She still hated him. (She probably always would.) He swallowed the lump in his throat, unsure what to say. He did, however, offer her a tentative smile.

Jonah felt like his insides had been pulled out of his butt and then shoved back in through his face. The world was still spinning as they landed on the remote island. “If we win this money I’ll spend my half on not ever having to travel like that again.” He said before promptly losing his lunch.

“Oi— you work for the radio, yeah?” Lex asked curiously.
