Is it really so difficult for writers of period film and television to think of a more interesting storyline for a queen/princess/duchess/lady or whatever than “she’s married well but *gasp* she’s having an affair with someone below her station :O”
like Zarya’s accent is very obvious and they do slip in the switched w/v thing on one of the voice lines (i can’t remember which) and while I don’t know how her accent is when she actually speaks Russian (I remember someone who was russian complaining that it sounded Weird and Off)Â
but like... we all know she has an accent. if you state that your character is from a particular place and lived there all their life, then the assumption is going to be that they have that accent.
