Lets say I hated how Hollywood made Death Note to another Fifty Shades of Grey with no kinky sex but instead a mass murder scene >_< Although I find Light Yagami to be a complete brute and Light Turner to be a little wiener I felt like drawing his 2017 American counterpart  wondering to see what he'd look like as an anime character. I'll be honest, I liked the idea of 2017's Light having a bit of bleached blonde hair instead of that redish/brownish shade. I'm not sure if I'll ever draw the original Light Yagami or any other characters from the show, but time will tell.
