Jewel Saix - Kotobukiya HMM Lightning Saix custom [Zoids]
Classy, flashy, and quicker than lightning, the Jewel Saix is the luxury sports car of the Zoids world, going 0 to 300 in the blink of an eye!
Hand painted with Tamiya Color semigloss black, Mr. Hobby metallic gold, and Folkart colorshift pastel purple (on a Tamiya Color silver base).
It was nice to go back and give this old kit some love with a new coat of paint, I think I built this one 14 years ago now?? Its super floppy and I couldn't take it apart fully for fear parts had become too brittle, but I'm really happy with how this custom turned out. Its a well loved Zoid, haha!

Lightning Saix
Kitty cat! Zoids are cool cause they are animals. This guy has some cool details in the paws. It can retract its claws and there is a separate splayed toe piece. Other than that the same kinda thing as the other Zoid I builtβincredible flexibility and range of movement. Although this guy's legs kept falling off which is a problem I don't remember having with the Fire Fox.
lightning saix i just put together. eventually i want to paint the red parts yellow like the hasbro version but i need to get more painting practice first
