I'm legitimately losing it over the fact that I cannot imagine Philippe as a kid. Perhaps it has to do with his mutton chops? After all, they make Philippe, well.. "Philippe" and I can't imagine him without them.

While, I like the idea that Corbeau’s related to the Kitakami Siblings, I couldn’t get behind the idea of him being their father! (I headcanon Corbeau to be 28—32 at the oldest.)

Let’s just say, he’s a bit more than flustered.

Sure, he knew you were the type to hum under your breath, as he had heard you countless times before while monitoring your progress on his Rotom Phone. For hours, your melodious hums would fill his office, and if he’s being honest, your dulcet tones would revitalize him better than any cup of black coffee ever could.

But singing? He never took you for the type. You were open with him about your countless other hobbies, but never once did you mention that you liked to sing.

So it came as a massive surprise when he stopped by a café with an open venue and, lo and behold, there you were—performing underneath the spotlight.

True! However, despite being a tired, overworked Gym Leader, Corbeau is still going to give trainers a piece of his mind—free of charge.

Corbeau’s been in countless Pokémon battles before, so he can tell if a trainer’s giving it their all, or just spamming powerful moves, hoping that maybe they'd land a hit.

And when they lose, oh boy, Corbeau's going to be lecturing their ear off about technique and how idiotic they were...
