The grunts think he’s still angry but Phillipe somehow knows.

Ough, I absolutely LOVED that scene! And don’t even get me started on deliberately falling off to get a reaction out of Corbeau!

If I may add onto your scenario, anon, what if you deliver the kiss after riling him up? Just think about it: you’re smirking at the head of the Rust Syndicate, who looks like he’s about to burst a blood vessel as he clings for dear life to the balcony’s edge.

You fell a total of three times—THREE—and each time, the Rust Syndicate had to rebuild the human ladder.

Needless to say, Corbeau’s patience is wearing thin, and his back is practically giving out. Chest heaving sporadically and pupils the size of pinpoints, he hisses through clenched teeth that you had better not fall again, or your ass is his—assuming Lumiose even survives this, that is.

Of course, his threat goes in one ear and out the other, as you approach him with a smug grin, bending down so that your eyes can meet. Before you speak, you take a second to soak in Corbeau's wrecked appearance: his glasses are smudged and crooked, strands of hair fall in front of his face, and his usually immaculate suit is wrinkled and covered in grime. You laugh, assuring Corbeau that you won't purposefully fall off, but will instead do something much worse.

Corbeau's eyebrow shoots up.

Worse? What could possibly be worse than exercising his patience and laughing at his expense?

And then, you kiss him...

Safe to say that he’ll be a tad bit embarrassed!

However, before an apology can ever leave his lips, you’ll have to endure Corbeau calling you 'kid' numerous times.

Personally, I would say no, as the sole reason why they traveled to Lumiose was to receive treatment. So, as soon as they were cleared, they would've booked it right back to Johto.

Now, Corbeau's mom wouldn't have objected to living in Kalos, but Corbeau was one stubborn, homesick kid. So, there's no way she would've won that fight.

Corbeau would shut everything down REAL QUICK.

He wasn't even halfway across the Syndicate's lobby when he knew something was wrong, as every single grunt within a meter was trying to avoid eye contact while blushing profusely. And of course, there was a clueless grunt who just had to open their big ol' mouth and ruin it for everybody...

While, I like the idea that Corbeau’s related to the Kitakami Siblings, I couldn’t get behind the idea of him being their father! (I headcanon Corbeau to be 28—32 at the oldest.)

I can already imagine the looks on Carmine and Keiran’s faces when they realize they’re related to Lumiose’s one and only Corbeau, along with all the bragging rights that come with it.

Because, as a child, it felt like his last remaining connection to home.

He had to leave the Johto region to receive medical treatment in Kalos, and he absolutely HATED it. For months, he was homesick, counting down the days until he could go home. Still, he had his mother, his little piece of home.

Sadly, after her passing, that piece was ripped away from him too…

- Just like Philippe's Skarmory, Corbeau's Scolipede is a girl—a very beloved, spoiled-rotten girl.

- As a Venipede, she was exiled from her swarm due to her being the runt of the pack, thus causing her to wander into Lumiose City completely by accident.

- Her first encounter with Corbeau was when he was 13, as she tried to scuttle off with his pain au chocolat. (Unfortunately, she didn't get that far and Corbeau had to save her from a flock of Pidgeys.)

- Corbeau tried to reunite Venipede with her swarm. However, after watching them reject her, he decided who needed them anyway? HE would be part of her swarm.

- One of the very first things Corbeau bought with his newly earned money, was a Dusk Ball for her.

- Venipede first evolved into Whirlipede to help Corbeau escape from Philippe and his goons. She later evolved into Scolipede as Corbeau became the head of the Rust Syndicate.

- Scolipede and Skarmory's relationship drastically changed over the years; from being at each other's necks, to being downright inseparable.

- Despite Corbeau buying Scolipede an expensive, custom-made Poké Bed, she always preferred sleeping in Corbeau’s bed and taking up more than half of it.

- Scolipede prefers being out of her Poké Ball while in the office. Usually, you'll find her curled up beside Corbeau's desk.

- Scolipede takes after her trainer, as while she looks menacing, once she warms up to you, she is a huge dork who whines for treats, demands belly rubs, and enjoys deep carapace scratches.

I’m still trying to figure him out lol! But here are the current thoughts and headcanon that I have for him:

- Born and raised in Johto.

- Since Corbeau’s mother, Fujiko, is associated with poison motifs, I wanted his father to have an avian motif—specifically one related to birds in the Corvidae family. (Which includes crows and ravens!)

- Keeping up with the Corvidae motifs, personality-wise, I want to believe that while Corbeau’s father is highly intelligent, he’s also very mischievous and a bit of a prankster. A trait he DEFINITELY passed down to Corbeau.

- For his team, his ace is a Honchkrow, and I can see him specializing in either Flying or Dark types, maybe both!

- Family-wise, he comes from a big, BIG family. Still, I haven’t decided whether to make them all part of the Corvidae family or name each member after a different kind of bird.
