yeah, they usually (not always :V) do. i still have a problem with that. :T

like. child abuse is child abuse. alcoholism sometimes leads to a higher probability of child abuse (thoooough there’s some conflation there around, like, poverty, community problems, various life stresses, mental illness, and alcoholism – all of which are hella correlated. i have similar problems with studies that just say “mental illness leads to child abuse”), but folks abused by alcoholic parents generally don’t seem that much different than folks abused by non-alcoholic or non-substance abusing parents (ie there is no ACoA Syndrome), cept for maybe differences in typical triggers, relationship to alcohol, etc.

i see it very similar to the idea of “personality disordered (esp cluster B) parent -> abuse” and things like “narcissistic/NPD abuse” as a special discrete category. ACoA literature is very similar (and very often overlaps :V), but while i see folks pushing back against the PD->abuse thing, i don’t see as many folks talk about alcoholism? hell, even some of the same folks using “alcoholic” as short-hand for “abusive”.

Vore could either mean you’re holding something in/something’s holding you back. It could also pertain to consuming anything in excess. Reverse vore can be you’re freed from previously bottled emotions/ freed from being weighed down or you’ve learned to restrict consumption. I can’t believe I just did any of that

oh gosh, I don’t know. I’ve only experimented with things like mascara, liner, and lipstick very very recently. i don’t know fuck about anything else, not a shit. I watch a lot of beauty gurus on Youtube tho, that’s kinda where I’ve picked up a few things - mostly terms and what brands have what and are worth their price.
