Hey friends!  Here’s that song I talked about a couple of days ago in one of the tags on a reblog.
I wrote this song because I wanted to make a song for all the non-heterosexual people.  All the LGBTQIA+ people, because I am part of them, everyone in my band is part of them, and all of my closest friends are part of them.  So many people I know in life are part of the LGBTQIA+, but there just aren’t enough songs for us.
When I started writing this song, I wanted it to sound like one of the hundreds of heterosexual love songs that are out there. Â More specifically, I wanted to go for a very Avril Lavigne/Paramore vibe with writing it. Â But I wanted it to be a parody on those songs, and have it end up being anything but straight.
