Lighthouse Keeping
by Kay Ryan
Seas pleat winds keen fogs deepen ships lean no doubt, and the lighthouse keeper keeps a light for those left out. It is intimate and remote both for the keeper and those afloat.

This was supposed to be a French poetry poll. I'll make one, I promise, but I was distracted by the ladies (I think I'll make at least a Amy Lowell's poll and a Renee Vivien one too later, also under my 'sapphic poetry' tag)
They may not be the ones you would have picked yourself, they're some personal favorites.
Feel free to share yours, though !

So, my blog is already about 99% sfw (I think), so I don’t think the ban will affect me very much. But I’m still pissed on behalf of my friends who will be affected just because @staff can’t be bothered to do their jobs and run a, you know, functioning website.
I don’t plan on going anywhere yet, but if things get bad, y’all can find me as ferociousqueak just about everywhere (Twitter and Dreamwidth, though I’m hardly on the former and still trying to figure out the latter). I’m also ferociousqueak at AO3 and ff.net. If you’d like to connect on Facebook, please message me :D

So, after @thisonelikesaliens asked about my Ryders today, I realized I hadn’t made character pages for them yet, I fixed that problem :D Now I have pages (with spoilers, be warned!) for Artemis and Beatrice, with Calliope’s still under construction while I finish her game.
For some reason, my Nvidia stopped working during Bea’s playthrough, so I don’t have a screenshot of her yet. I’ll see if I can fix that too.
Welcome, new followers!
It seems like quite a few of you have started following lately, and it’s been a while since I’ve done a welcome post, so ... WELCOME :D
Around here you’ll find mostly Mass Effect: Andromeda and Wonder Woman at the moment, but I’ll also occasionally look up from my obsessions-of-the-moment to find shiny posts about Leverage, Hawkeye, Harry Potter, pretty dresses, cute animals, terrible puns, and a smattering of other interests to reblog. I also write Mass Effect fic, if you’re interested. I tag pretty reliably, so if there’s anything you don’t want to see on your dash, you can blacklist as you see fit.
Unfortunately, I’m not always able to follow back. If I don’t, please know that I still see you and that I appreciate you being here, for however long that ends up being. And if ever you feel like unfollowing me, for any reason whatsoever, please feel free to do so without hesitation, no hard feelings. We all have to manage our dash the best way we know how :)
My ask box is always open, so please feel free to drop by if the mood strikes. *hugs* Thank you for being here :D
