Faith can seem hard because we’re so used to living by feelings, needing to feel things and have security in what we feel, see, and experience for comfort. But the joy of having faith in God’s unending love is knowing that it’s real and true even when we don’t feel it, when it’s not comfortable, and when we really don’t know anything at all.

True faith is found when you don’t have much reason in front of you to believe, yet you believe anyway. And it was this faith that drove the Lord to give Himself for us. When the world opposed Him and everything was covered in darkness, He saw us as worth it and never lost sight of who we would become as He rose from the dead. When it felt over and looked to be over, when people mocked Him and called Him a liar and a sinner, Love could not fail.
