Hundreds, maybe thousands twinkling throughout the years and each time, wishing I had some magical way of reflecting the awe and wonder misplaced onto me... I wish I could make them believe that actually, I am holding up a mirror and the greatness that they see in me… is simply their own reflection. Gemstones glittering across a minefield of deadline, proposal, and invoice shrapnel... 💎 How do you keep showing up consistently, even after all of these years? 💎 How do you know so much about technology? Divination? Business? 💎 And for what you don’t know, how do you find answers so fast? How the heck are you so BRAVE? As if I were superhuman or somehow “more” than them. I used to reply back feverishly to every single one and let them know that they too can sparkle if they would just take a shining to their own selves… Until the weight of these precious jewels masked as “I wish I could’s” who may never see the light of day becomes a burden too heavy to carry on my own. Have you ever noticed how heavy gold actually is? At this, I go back to my work of creating and crafting my own brilliance, hoping it inspires someone else to polish their own inner diamond.
