Life Of MS Students In US | 2019
In this video I have given you complete details about how would be life of a student in US for Indan MS Students
Depending on background, personality, location, expectations etc., everyone’s experiences are different. I can share mine and, hopefully, that will give you some perspective.
1. Life is pretty good in the US. Everything is easy. It’s easy to get your SSN #, open your Bank Account, etc which would require you to make multiple visits to the office if it was India. 2. People are friendly. You can learn about different cultures, cuisines, etc from people of different countries. 3. You will not have 8–5 classes 6 days a week like in India. They stress more on assignments. You will be given an overview of the subject and then you will be given assignments where you will be required to do your own research and solve them. 4. You can start earning and start paying your rent, grocery and utility bills by working part-time on the campus which you would not have done in India. I used to re-arrange all the equipment of students of School of Cinema once a week and was paid $40/week (it used to take me an hour/week as I was supposed to do it on Monday morning only). Then I moved to another job where I used to help researches prepare their kits for field study and then I started working as a Software Developer for their department. I learned a lot from all of them. The department I used to work had people from the United States, Israel, India (me), Bangladesh, Indonesia, Philippines, China & Japan.
