The color I decided to focus on this week was burnt orange/ red orange. I really like this color and thought I would focus in on it this week. I have a burnt orange corduroy jacket that I absolutely love and a couple other burnt orange shirts. I feel very drawn to this burnt orange color with some teals, light sage greens, and tans.
1. This photo was taken on one of the best sunset photoshoots I have ever been on. This sunset will forever be one of my favs because of the vibrant colors that went from orange reds to purple.
2. I took this photo in Idaho when I visited my grandparents. It is so pretty how the orange blends in with the greens, reds, and hints of yellow. Fall time is so pretty with all the leaves changing colors.
3. Not only does this movie have great color schemes but it has great costume designs. I adore this image and love the muted but vibrant colors used in Jo’s garments.
4. This is a photo from a trip I took with some of my wing mates to apple hill. All of apple hill reminds me of burnt orange and I wore a jacket that has burnt orange on it. I love autumn and the cold weather and burnt orange reminds me of that.
5. I had to include the orange KING himself Tigger!!! When I think of an orange disney character he always is the first to pop into my mind. I love Tigger and his energy and I feel that he perfectly represents burnt orange and its energetic fun mood.
6. This is a picture I took of a red panda at the San Diego zoo. HE IS SO CUTE and I love how he is all curled up in a ball just licking his nose. The way the sun rays are hitting his fur makes some parts of him look almost light orange rather than a deep orange red.
I decided to do the color palette on the Red Panda because I wanted to challenge myself and find some burnt oranges but also colors within the photo that would compliment red orange.
