Fanart: Lieco (via Pixiv)
It's not very often that you see Sabin portrayed in such a dark and brooding way, but I think it's pretty cool!
I can, of course, stare at Sabin all day, but I find this particular work quite compelling. I'm also drawn to the ghostly white plants in the foreground. Looks amazing!
Somebody who is more apt at analyzing artwork would probably say something about "the contract between black above and white below", and "the tone of Sabin's own color palette is inverse to that of the environment around him", and "how his long flowing legs draw one's eye up to the face".
I'm just going to say, "Wow."
