who do you think would be the best father? -please evaluate all black clover characters ever- -except tom again cause we tend to favor our favorites- -even though I don't think my favorite will be chosen because it's so boyish- -anyway i'm hopeful for the results and i will support my son-
Hello! I did try to consider all male characters (as it was about being the best *dad*), and here’s my top 5 (+ a bonus). Again, it was kinda difficult to not play favouritism 😅
Julius:
Julius would definitely be the fun dad who always has time for his kids. He’d encourage them to wonder, dream and hope, and would be very understanding. I wouldn’t say that he’d be a very strict dad, even if there would be some boundaries. And this is where his s/o would need to come in (at times) and probably would let out a few deep sighs when catching your husband and kids sneaking out. Or doing something else with a mischievous grin. He’d also encourage his kids to see the world and be open, which I think is a characteristic of a good parent. So: love, understanding, time, support and openness. Those are the reasons why he’s my first pick.
Licht:
I did surprise myself with this one, but taking into consideration how understanding he was, and how he wished for elves and humans to be friends; he really does believe in love and compassion. I think that he would have been a very good dad to his (and Tetia’s) kids, wouldn’t they (his tribe) have… been slaughtered (which made things take a turn)… But since he was very much involved in the lives of his fellow elves, I do think that it would have taken his family time. In my opinion, he would have been a gentle, caring father, who would have encouraged his kids to also be open and compassionate.
Zora:
I think that Zora would definitely be a good father. He has had one of his own, who he looks up to very much, and to whom he’d like to live up to. So, I think that he’d try to be a fun-loving, attentive and caring father, who has time for his kids. He might not be the best at expressing it through his words, but I do think that he’d be a very soft father, and his kids would always know that they can turn to him.
Fuego:
I would say that he’d be a very involved father as well. Understanding, tolerating, loving, compassionate, and he would make time for his children. But I do also think that he’d have to actually make time because of his work. So, he would be absent on some parts, even if he would try his very best to give his kids all the love and time they need. I can also see that at times, he’d tend to be more of a “problem solver” than a listener. So, if his kids would come to him with a problem, just wanting to vent, he’d try to work out a solution, rather than focus on listening. But his kids would definitely turn to him for advice and wouldn’t hesitate to do so, ever. Because they know that no matter what, their father would always put them first.
William:
My next pick would be Will, though I debated for a while between him and Finral. I do think that Will would be very protective of his kids and would strive to be a protective, loving, caring and accepting father. He’d try to give his kids all the love that he didn’t have while growing up, and I think that his empathetic nature would shine through even better as a father.
(Bonus: Finral
Finral is my sixth pick for many of the same reasons as Will, but I think that Finral would be a bit more apprehensive as a dad. But he would learn, and he would never stop trying to be a good father for his kids.)
